SWTOR Players Average 4 Hour Sessions z413i

According to Greg Zeschuk, head of BioWare Austin, the average SWTOR player plays for four to six hours per session. This is a startling number to non-gamers but not so shocking to those who enjoy spending some quality time in a good MMO. 2s6g5z

“When they play, their sessions are absurd,” Greg Zeschuk said in a recent interview. “What it implies is that we’ve managed to pull off this ‘just-one-more-quest, just-one-more-thing’ feeling. I find myself doing that all the time. I just get sucked back in. The playing of the game is off the charts.””
Many of us who have been SWTOR, it’s easy to see how players can get sucked in for that “one more thing” and end up playing for several hours.
In fact, I find myself not even wanting to unless I know I can devote 1-2 solid hours to play time (unless it’s just to PvP) because I know I will become frustrated that I don’t have the time to finish things that I start.
The story at Kotaku offers some more insight from Greg and also talks about the numbers and facts behind this data. It makes for an interesting read but it’s really just the technical side to what most of us know already- good MMOs are addicting.
How long do you play when you have a SWTOR session?
