Unlike previous seasons where players would embark on storyline missions with a new companion, Season 5 offers a different approach. Story progression is now a part of the Galactic Seasons rewards. Players will unlock new story missions as they progress through the reward track, culminating in a final mission at Season Level 40.
The season’s story, titled “Confidence in Power,” introduces players to 3V-1L, an astromech droid serving a mysterious Master. The droid will test players through a series of trials to determine their worthiness of the Master’s teachings of the “dark side.”

Season 5 brings new objectives involving companions set to specific roles, Space Missions, and Operations. The objectives have been designed to offer more variety and clarity. For example, Flashpoint and Uprising objectives have been updated to make it clearer what requirements need to be satisfied.
