What then?

This article from Hardcore Gamer discusses the topic of the future of Star Wars games and we think they have some really great points. So rather than say again what’s already been said, we’re going to direct you to their piece about it.

Colin Stevens says, “EA has done quite a bit with The Star Wars games have sold well, and kept many fans pleased, but they’re all based off of existing Star Wars properties. What we need is something fresh – or, at the very least, more variety.”

Doesn’t that last line pretty much sum it up? Every time it looks like they are going to give us something new or unique, the project gets canned, sometimes before it even has the opportunity to get started.

Colin’s article goes on to talk about some of those feel about the current games they are giving us?

A child of the Nintendo generation, she believes they just don’t make games like they used to but sometimes, they make them even better! While consoles will always be her first love, Lisa spends most of her gaming time on the PC these days- on MMOs and first-person shooters in particular.
